Conga implementation partner
for CPQ, CLM and document automation
We run enterprise Conga programmes on the Advantage Platform and on Salesforce. Our senior team has spent fifteen to twenty years in quote to cash and learned these products from the inside.

What is the Conga Advantage Platform?
Conga retired the Revenue Lifecycle Cloud branding in October 2024. The Advantage Platform replaced it: an open platform bringing document automation, CPQ, price management and optimisation, and contract lifecycle management into one place. Since Conga completed its acquisition of the PROS B2B business in February 2026, it also carries a second CPQ engine and a full pricing science capability.
In practice that means most Conga modules now come in two editions, one for the Advantage Platform and one for Salesforce. CPQ, CLM, Composer, Sign, Billing, Digital Commerce and Approvals all split that way. Choosing the right edition, and knowing when a hybrid is the honest answer, is the first real decision in any Conga programme. It is also the one most often made for the wrong reason. We go through it in detail on the CPQ and CLM pages.
Which Conga CPQ, and where does it run?
Two separate decisions, and they get collapsed into one more often than not.
Decision one: which product
Hosted on the Conga Advantage Platform and connected natively to Conga CLM, Composer and Billing. Synchronises across CRM environments and out to ERPs such as SAP and Oracle through standard APIs.
Runs natively on both Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics 365, API-first to SAP and Oracle. Brings AI-led pricing and win-rate probability, constraints-based configuration, and quotes running past 10,000 line items.
Both now reach across CRMs and ERPs, so the marketing distinction is blurrier than the product pages suggest. In practice the choice turns on how your product model and pricing governance actually work, and on which suite you want the rest of your revenue lifecycle sitting in.
Decision two: where the engine runs
This is the one that gets assumed rather than decided. Advantage CPQ is not a Salesforce-only product. It is hosted on the Conga Advantage Platform and functions outside Salesforce entirely. Salesforce is one front end option among several.
| Deployment shape | Where the engine sits | Choose it when |
|---|---|---|
| CPQ for Salesforce | A managed package inside your own Salesforce org, with TurboEngines offloading heavy pricing and configuration | Your product model is manageable inside Salesforce governor limits and you want one org to administer |
| Advantage Platform, Salesforce front end | On the Conga platform, with your Salesforce org connected through the CPQ bridge package | You want platform-grade configuration and pricing without moving your sellers out of Salesforce |
| Advantage Platform, standalone or another CRM | Engine and interface both on the Conga platform, synchronised to Dynamics, SAP or Oracle, or to nothing at all | Salesforce is not your system of record, or quoting genuinely does not belong in the CRM |
We have a dedicated PROS pricing consultant in the team, so the product question gets answered on merit rather than by defaulting to whichever we know best. See our full Conga CPQ services.
Four things we are known for
Conga CPQ on the Advantage Platform
We have taken CPQ live on the Advantage Platform, not just certified on it. At a UK clearing bank we went from kick-off to go-live in 120 days, replacing a ten-step manual chain covering quoting, onboarding, due diligence, risk and fraud. We also do the hard parts: bundles inside bundles, hundreds of options across option groups, and constraint rule sets that most implementations quietly avoid.
160,000 active asset records queried at quote time
2,500 SAP product master records modelled
1,500 cart line items validated for performance
Conga CLM, on platform or on Salesforce
We run CLM on the Advantage Platform on live enterprise accounts, owning the full delivery ourselves, and on Salesforce where that is the right edition. Clause libraries and playbooks, X-Author for Word with locked and unlocked clause behaviour, obligation management, approval design, and the SSO, ERP and eSignature integrations that decide whether a CLM programme is adopted or abandoned.
3,000+ line contracts under mass amendment at a global airline
250 agreements migrated in a single bulk run at a global insurer
2 core templates assembling four distinct agreements
Conga Contracts to Conga CLM
Conga Contracts, the standalone Novatus-lineage platform, no longer appears in Conga’s marketed portfolio and parts of its API are formally deprecated. The question is no longer whether to move but how to move without losing ten years of contract history. We have built the method: two migration archetypes with an honest trade-off between them, a nine-step approach with sign-off gates, field-level mapping, working extraction tooling, and a tested risk register.
8,321 contracts in our first full migration, now in flight
16 contract types, around 28 GB of documents
13 weeks to a working repository, workflows after
Document automation
Composer and Sign are core practice for us, not an adjacent skill. We generate against Salesforce and against back ends that are not Salesforce at all, including Dynamics 365 and Dataverse through the Merge API into a Conga Sign flow. That is work we do repeatedly, which is why we are comfortable fixing the price on it.
2,200 documents a month at an international education group
700 clause library driving lease generation by rule
50 to 60 clauses selected per contract, without a human choosing
How we deliver
Phase Zero
Four weeks, fixed price. Discovery, solution design, a risk register, a decision log and an executive playback, ending in a not-to-exceed number for the build. Every deliverable is yours whether or not the implementation goes ahead.
We design for you to need us less
Simple solutions rest on understanding the complexity underneath. We design for minimal external support after go-live, and every engagement ends in a review whose learnings go back into our Centre of Excellence.
Managed services
Reserved capacity rather than best efforts. Hours are booked monthly and unused hours carry into the following rolling quarter. You get named people who already know your org, not a ticket queue.
Transparency
Every case tracked with hours monitored, and regular analytics sessions rather than an invoice you cannot interrogate.
Flexibility
Access to the skill you need this month, with fast turnaround on anything critical, and preparation for the phase after this one.
Knowledge transfer
Close notes, documentation and walkthrough videos as standard. A deliverable, not a favour.
Continuous improvement
Recurring issues are logged and fixed at the cause, so the support line gets quieter over time rather than busier.
Conga implementation FAQs
Is the Conga Advantage Platform the same as Conga Revenue Lifecycle Cloud?
No. Revenue Lifecycle Cloud was the earlier branding. Conga launched the Advantage Platform in October 2024 and it replaced that name. Revenue lifecycle management survives as a description of the category, not as the product name. If a partner is still selling you Revenue Lifecycle Cloud in 2026, ask when they last delivered.
What is the difference between Advantage CPQ and Smart CPQ?
Advantage CPQ is the Conga line, hosted on the Conga Advantage Platform. Smart CPQ arrived with the PROS B2B acquisition in February 2026 and runs natively on both Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics 365. Both reach across CRMs and ERPs, so this is not a Salesforce versus everything-else choice. It turns on how your product model and pricing governance work, and which suite you want the rest of your revenue lifecycle in. More on Conga CPQ.
Is Conga Contracts being discontinued?
Conga has not published an end-of-life date that we can point to. What is observable is that the standalone Conga Contracts platform no longer appears in Conga’s marketed product portfolio or in any of the four platform pillars, and parts of its API are formally marked deprecated. If you are running it, plan a route to Conga CLM rather than waiting for a notice. How the migration works.
Should I run Conga CLM on Salesforce or on the Advantage Platform?
Both editions are current. Salesforce makes sense when legal, sales and the agreement record already live there and you want one platform to administer. The Advantage Platform makes sense when your CRM is something other than Salesforce, when you want the newer Conga AI capabilities as they land on the platform, or when contract volume and document weight argue for taking it off the CRM. More on Conga CLM.
How long does a Conga CPQ implementation take?
Our fastest go-live on the Advantage Platform was 120 days from kick-off, for a single business unit with a well-understood product model. A multi-business-unit programme with ERP integration and asset-based ordering runs across quarters. We give you a not-to-exceed number at the end of Phase Zero rather than a range at the start.
Do you support Conga on Microsoft Dynamics 365 as well as Salesforce?
Yes. We currently generate documents against Dynamics 365 and Dataverse through the Composer Merge API into a Conga Sign flow, and Conga has taken Advantage CPQ and CLM into early access on Dynamics 365 and the Azure Marketplace. More on document automation.
Tell us where the Conga programme is stuck.
Forty-five minutes, no deck. If we are not the right firm for it, we will tell you on the call rather than three weeks later in a proposal.
